Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company Limited is a private life insurer in India and promoted by Canara Bank and HSBC Insurance (Asia-Pacific) Holdings Limited, a member of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited ('HSBC') group. Incorporated in 2007, they have grown into a prominent bank led private player in the Indian life insurance sector as they rank third amongst public sector bank led life insurers in India, based on the number of lives covered for Fiscal 2025. The Annualised Premium Equivalent ('APE') has consistently grown. The profit after tax has increased at a CAGR of 13.26% from Rs 911.94 million in Fiscal 2023 to Rs 1,169.81 million in Fiscal 2025 and was Rs 234.13 million in the three months period ended June 30,2025. Financially, they are well capitalized, with the solvency ratio of 200.42% as at June 30, 2025 that surpasses the regulatory requirement of 150.00%. Furthermore, they have provided coverage to 10.51 million lives as at June 30, 2025. Company gains considerable advantage in fostering new business growth by harnessing the Bancassurance partnerships with the promoters. Bancassurance accounted for 92.33%, 91.71%, 87.07%, 78.71% and 57.20%, of the new business premium during the three months period ended June 30, 2025, June 30, 2024, and Fiscals 2025, 2024 and 2023, respectively. As at March 31, 2025, Canara Bank managed 9,849 branches across India. They also have access to the branch network of seven regional rural banks, through distribution agreements. Through the distribution agreements with these partners they have access to an aggregate of over 15,700 geographically distributed network of branches across India, as at March 31, 2025. Company offers a comprehensive range of life insurance products tailored for both individual and group (i.e., companies, businesses or organizations) customers. The offerings primarily include saving and endowment plans, term (pure protection) plans, retirement solutions, group credit life and protection plans and the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana ('PMJJBY'). As on the date of this RHP, the product portfolio comprises 20 individual products, seven group products and two optional rider benefits, along with policies under the PMJJBY scheme. Company is dedicated to enhancing customer experience by simplifying and digitizing the onboarding process to enhance customer convenience and distributor productivity, guiding them efficiently from on-boarding to policy issuance. This includes 'straight through processing' (i.e., without any manual or physical intervention), secure and instant customer verification through mobile applications and an automated underwriting engine that is developed in-house to reduce documentation and improve underwriting efficiency. They also leverage the digital footprint through integration and partnerships with brokers and platforms, such as Policybazaar Insurance Brokers Private Limited and Robinhood Insurance Broker Limited, expanding the distribution reach and potential. For the Q1 FY25, approximately 67% of the policy applications (excluding term and medical portfolio products) were processed using the 'straight-through processing' method and more than 99.70% of the applications were processed digitally. As per financial performance, Studds Accessories Limited has posted total income / net profits of Rs 506.48 Cr / 33.15 Cr (FY23), Rs 535.84 Cr / Rs 57.23 Cr (FY24), Rs 595.89 Cr / 69.64 Cr (FY25) and Rs 152.01 Cr / 20.25 Cr (Q1 FY26). So as per previous financials data, company has shown steady growth. Company has an average EPS of Rs 15.1 and average RoNW of 14.30% for last three fiscals. Issue is priced at a P/BV of 4.90 as per NAV of Rs 119.37/- as on 30.06.25. If we attribute latest earnings of FY24, FY25 and annualised FY26 on equity post issue, then asking price is at a P/E of around 40.23, 33.06 and 28.43 respectively. As per RHP, there is no listed peers. On BRLM's front, IIFL Capital Services Limited, ICICI Securities Limited are associated with this IPO, and have handled 110 IPOs in last three fiscal years. ( As on 03.11.25 ) As per financials, Studds Accessories Limited has shown steady results, RoNW is 15.49% and P/E is 40.23, 33.06 and 28.43 respectively as per FY24, FY25 and annualised FY26 earnings. So issue looks fully priced. Company is in business of two-wheeler helmet segment with global reach and largest player in India. So, we give SUBSCRIBE rating for this IPO.
