PVR INOX Limited is India's largest and most premium film exhibition company. Originally incorporated in April 1995 as Priya Village Roadshow Limited, it was renamed PVR Limited in 2002. Following the strategic merger of PVR Limited and INOX Leisure Limited, the company adopted its current name, PVR INOX Limited. It pioneered the multiplex revolution in India by establishing the nation's first multiplex cinema in 1997 at Saket, New Delhi.
