Incorporated in September 2022, Maxwell Engineering Solutions Limited (MESL) is a Vadodara-based precision engineering enterprise engaged in the manufacturing, trading, and servicing of critical, high-precision wear components for underwater pelletizing systems and water-ring pelletizers. The company’s core value proposition centers on manufacturing specialized die plates and cutting components that convert molten polymers into uniform pellets utilized in plastic compounding, petrochemicals, masterbatches, and recycling industries. MESL operates under three primary business segments: Manufacturing (core focus comprising 62.84% of FY26 revenue), Services (refurbishment and repair of worn die plates, intermediary support, and management consulting, accounting for 19.05% of FY26 revenue), and Trading (selective supply of complementary components, accounting for 18.11% of FY26 revenue). The company is actively transitioning away from trading to focus entirely on expanding its high-margin in-house manufacturing and refurbishment capabilities.
The company caters to a specialized B2B customer base across diverse polymer processing sub-sectors, including polyolefins, masterbatches (color, black, white, filler, and additive), engineering plastics (BS, PA, PBT, PC, PE), cable compounds (HFFR, semi-conductive, PVC, XLPE, HDPE blends), specialty fluoropolymers (PFA, FEP, PVDF), PET/PA resin production, and post-consumer as well as post-industrial plastic recycling (PET, PP, PE, PVC). MESL offers custom-engineered designs and white-label manufacturing, enabling clients to market components under their own brand names. The company maintains strong customer retention, with its top 10 customers contributing 65.71% of total operational revenue in FY26.
MESL possesses a well-established international reach, deriving 84.73% of its FY26 revenue from exports across more than 25 countries (including 84.34% in the 4-month stub period ended July 31, 2026). Key international destinations include Germany (30.17% of 4M FY27 sales / 23.12% in FY26), the Netherlands (20.44% in 4M FY27 / 14.13% in FY26), the United States (14.80% in FY26), Austria (9.90% in FY26), Israel (8.38% in FY26), the Sultanate of Oman, Japan, Indonesia, Luxembourg, Vietnam, Italy, and Switzerland. Domestic sales within India contributed 15.27% of FY26 revenue across Gujarat, Telangana, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Maharashtra, and Haryana.
On July 01, 2025, MESL relocated its operations from an erstwhile leased 7,500 sq. ft. facility at Makarpura GIDC to a company-owned 2,000 sq. meter manufacturing facility at Plot Nos. 939 & 940, Waghodia GIDC, Vaghodia, Vadodara, Gujarat. Additionally, the company has acquired the adjacent Plot No. 938 (1,000 sq. meters), where it proposes to construct a new office building and expanded production unit using IPO proceeds. The Waghodia plant is equipped with modern, dry-process precision machinery—including Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs), CNC lathes, 5-axis VMCs, Wire Cut EDM, automatic/manual EDM, high-vacuum hardening and brazing furnaces, surface grinders, and glass-beading machines. Based on an independent engineer’s certificate, the operations are classified under the environmentally friendly White Category, exempting the unit from GPCB Consent to Establish/Operate requirements.
For the full year FY26 (combined operations across Makarpura and Waghodia units), the exact capacity and capacity utilization figures stood as follows:
- New Pelletizing Die Plates: Installed capacity of 800 Nos; actual production of 649 Nos (81% utilization).
- Die Plate Refurbishment: Installed capacity of 250 Nos; actual production of 144 Nos (58% utilization).
- Blade Holders / Cutter Hubs: Installed capacity of 140 Nos; actual production of 48 Nos (34% utilization).
- Tapped Driving Bushes: Installed capacity of 225 Nos; actual production of 139 Nos (62% utilization).
- Pelletizing Blades / Knives: Installed capacity of 250,000 Nos; actual production of 167,753 Nos (67% utilization).
Research and development forms a strategic pillar of MESL’s operations. Integrated within its Waghodia plant, the in-house R&D unit is led by Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Rajkumar Chaudhary, alongside specialized design, operations, and quality control personnel. In FY26, MESL capitalized ₹1.51 Crore (treated as intangible assets under development) across nine R&D projects. Notable achievements include the development of the flagship D-500 (720 x 102 mm) Oil-Heated Die Plate featuring 3,045 micro-holes engineered for graphite-based polystyrene extrusion in cold European climates, and the development of Ferro-TIC (SP-70 and SP-100) carbide-tipped plates that enhance surface hardness and operational lifespan. Furthermore, MESL is utilizing its IPO machinery capex (₹18.00 Crore) to initiate in-house manufacturing of large-format 1.6-meter diameter die plates (scaling up from its current 0.5-meter diameter capacity), giving the company a first-mover advantage in India for import substitution. Quality standards are certified under ISO 9001:2015 and MSME ZED Bronze Certification.
Financially, Maxwell Engineering Solutions Limited reported total income and net profits of ₹10.87 Cr and ₹3.16 Cr (FY24), ₹22.59 Cr and ₹9.18 Cr (FY25), ₹30.76 Cr and ₹11.86 Cr (FY26), and ₹12.25 Cr and ₹3.05 Cr (4M FY27 ended July 31, 2026). The company has demonstrated robust top-line growth at a CAGR of 68.27% and net profit expansion at a CAGR of 93.69% over the 3-year period. Total debt increased from ₹1.63 Cr in FY24 to ₹16.73 Cr in FY26 (₹15.77 Cr as of July 31, 2026), of which ₹4.30 Cr will be prepaid using IPO proceeds to lower interest costs. The company maintains an average EPS of ₹9.48 and an average RoNW of 63.18% over the last three fiscals (weighted average basis).
Based on the pre-issue book value, the issue is priced at a Pre-Issue P/BV of 5.69 (NAV of ₹27.78 as of July 31, 2026). Factoring in the fresh issue proceeds, the Post-Issue P/BV stands at 2.53 (based on a post-issue NAV of ₹62.46). Attributing historical earnings to the expanded post-issue equity base (1,36,98,275 equity shares), the asking price reflects a Post-Issue P/E of approximately 68.46 (FY24), 23.59 (FY25), 18.25 (FY26), and 23.64 (TTM). A comparison with listed peers shows that broader market competitors such as Omnitech Engineering Limited and Sunita Tools Limited trade at significantly higher valuation multiples of 81.0x and 109x P/E, respectively, with lower RoNW (18.0% and 11.1%). This makes Maxwell's asking valuation of 18.25x FY26 Post-Issue P/E relatively attractive.
The issue is managed by JDA Capital Services Limited. This marks the first public issue handled by the Book Running Lead Manager.
