Edelweiss Financial Services Limited started  the  business  as  an  investment  banking  firm,  the  Issuer,  through  its  subsidiaries  has  diversified  its businesses to include credit including retail and corporate credit, asset management including mutual fund and alternatives asset  management  businesses,  asset  reconstruction,  insurance  both  life  and  general  insurance  business,  and  wealth management  businesses. They  have  a  pan-India  and  international  network  with 242 domestic offices, and 3 (three) international offices (total 245 offices) and employed 6,062 employees as at June 30, 2023.  The total income of the Company was Rs 1,08,488.50 million for the year March 31, 2021, Rs 73,045.91 million for the year March 31, 2022, and Rs 86,325.91 million for the year March 31, 2023 on a consolidated basis. The profit attributable to owners of the Company was Rs 2,653.36 million for the year March 31, 2021, Rs 1,887.84 million for the year ended March 31, 2022 and Rs 3,441.63 million for the year March 31, 2023 on a consolidated basis. Company has shown average results and rating is AA- / Negative by CRISIL, which will be considered average, coupon rates are good and industry is also showing good growth. So we give NEUTRAL rating to this debt offer.
