DAM Capital is the fastest growing merchant bank in India with a market share of 12.1%, based on the number of initial public offerings and qualified institutional placements undertaken by them as the book running lead manager, in Fiscal 2024. They provide a wide range of financial solutions in areas of (i) merchant banking comprising equity capital markets ('ECM'), mergers and acquisitions ('M&A'), private equity ('PE'), and structured finance advisory; and (ii) institutional equities comprising broking and research. As per financial performance, DAM Capital Advisors Limited has posted total income / net profits of Rs 94.51 Cr / Rs 21.89 Cr (FY22), Rs 85.04 Cr / 8.67 Cr (FY23), Rs 182 Cr / Rs 70.52 Cr (FY24) and Rs 109.58 Cr / 43.78 Cr (H1 FY25). So as per previous financials data, company has shown very good growth. Company has an average EPS of Rs 5.92 and average RoNW of 30.29% for last three fiscals. Issue is priced at a P/BV of 10.15 as per NAV of Rs 27.87/- as on 30.09.24. If we attribute latest earnings of FY23, FY24 and annualised FY25 on equity post issue, then asking price is at a P/E of around 230.62, 28.37 and 22.85 respectively. As per RHP, comparison between listed peers is shown in above table. On BRLM's front, Nuvama Wealth Management Limited is the lead manager of the IPO and has handled around 19 IPOs in last three fiscals. From last 10 IPOs, five opened below issue price and remaining all opened above issue price or at par on the day of listing. As of now from last 10 IPOs, four are trading below issue price and remaining are trading above issue price as on date. ( As on 18.12.24 ) As per financials, DAM Capital Advisors Limited has shown good growth, RoNW is 44.98% and P/E is 230.62, 28.37 and 22.85 respectively as per FY23, FY24 and annualised FY25 earnings, so issue looks fully priced.
